At the Wednesday Gala at the Olympic Center, prizes were awarded in eleven categories. The most important winner was Kamil Stoch, gold medalist (individually) and bronze (in the team) at the Pyongchang Olympics. He reached the crystal ball, won all competitions of the Tournament of the 4 hills, won the silver medals (team) and bronze (by team). in ski flight.
The team of the year became the Polish Volleyball Team, which won for the second time in a row the title of world champion. The coach of the year was Stefan Horngacher, who successfully leads a team of ski jumpers. The best newcomer was tennis player Igna wiątek. Agnieszka Radwańska (for all of her achievements) and Bartosz Kurek, who received the listener "Sport Chronicle", were also honored.
At the gala, the athletes of the century were also chosen. They became Halina Konopacka, Irena Szewińska and Janusz Kusociński.
