The distribution of "Escape Room" in Poland has been suspended
On January 4th, a tragic event took place in Koszalin. A fire broke out in one of the escape rooms, during which five high school students were killed and the room attendant of the riddles was badly burned. There were a lot of security issues in the installation. The prosecutor's office accused the person in charge of the trade organization of the evacuation rooms.
The national premiere of the movie "Escape Room" coincided with a fire in Koszalin. The situation became very uncomfortable because, on the eve of the tragedy, the distributor began promoting online production using the #EscapeRoom hashtag. Now, with the same hashtag, there are tickets referring to events in Koszalin.
Most likely, due to the release date coinciding with the fire, the distributor of "Escape Room" in Poland decided to discontinue the distribution of the film in our country. UIP has published a short message on the network.
– We would like to inform you that the distribution of the movie "Escape Room" has been suspended.
Faced with the events of a few days ago, the decision seems to be the right one. It is not yet known if and when the film will be distributed in Poland.
