Minimum wage 2020 already announced!
Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced the minimum wage. By 2020, it will reach 2450 gross PLN. That's 200 PLN more than it is currently. In 2019, the minimum wage is PLN 2,250 gross. The minimum hourly rate next year will be PLN 16.
What is the minimum wage on hand in 2020?
- During the next year, the minimum wage will be 1774 PLN net.
- This year, employees will receive 1634 PLN per hand.
- The increase will therefore be 140 PLN.
The minimum wage in 2020 can still increase – the project "Salary 50+" to the assault
The Money.pl portal announced that Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki wanted to win votes for the PiS (legislative elections will be held in the autumn) with the help of a non-advertised project. "50 plus salary" means 50 additional zlotys for the minimum wage.
An official of the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Affairs: The proposal of the Council of Ministers is a safe option, normally higher than the postulate of entrepreneurs and lower than the requirements of unions. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki can still add 50 PLN to the pool. There were preliminary discussions on this subject. Everything will be settled in the fall, however.
