<p>  Israel Solano Mejia, director of the city's civil defense agency, told Foro TV that the plane "took off from the ground, but collapsed" to a few hundred meters from the end of the track. </p>
<p>  "The nose has taken the hit, the most seriously injured is the pilot," said Solano Mejia. However, he said, "the majority of passengers left the plane on their own. </p>
<p>  The Durango Civil Defense Office stated that the plane had landed in a field near the airport for the state capital, also called Durango .
