– We strive to make the change least felt by the people of Warsaw and, as a result, improve the quality of services for residents.

DFO declares that it will be ready to receive waste from Mokotow as of August 1st. The municipal society now receives the waste of one million residents of Warsaw, or 58%. capital market share (10 districts).

Received on the present basis

The town hall informed that the collection of waste in Mokotów will take place on the present basis. Its calendar will be similar to that of the current year, however, as warned officials, corrections for technical reasons will be possible

. They do not have to submit new statements.

Contracts expire

The mayor added that the agreement with Lekaro for waste collection of Praga Północ and Praga Południe will expire at the end of September. It will be the same with contracts with Sita, which currently serves Ursynów and Wilanów.

Officials recall that the agreements with Lekaro and Sita were pronounced by the city in letters of March 27. The agreements were due to expire at the end of September, but in the case of Mokotów the funds were exhausted before the end of the notice period. As a result, on April 27, the city announced an unlimited call for bids for garbage collection from this district.

However, no offer was submitted as part of this procedure, which resulted in the cancellation of the offer. The city has started negotiations with Lekaro (under the Public Procurement Act) for further waste collection. The conditions proposed by this company proved to be unacceptable to the town hall – as the press release

underlined – the city has therefore maintained with DFO and signed a contract with him on July 13th.

Complaints before the Board of Appeal

A call for tenders is under way to collect and manage waste from Praga Południe, Praga Północ, Wilanów and Ursynów. The opening of bids is scheduled for August 9 this year.

The City Council added that in April, under internal control (instead of ordering on the open market, it is outsourced to dependent companies), DFO began negotiations regarding the collection and management of waste . The proceedings were appealed to the National Appeals Chamber. The House adjourned for an indefinite period in July

"The ruling of the National Appeals Chamber means that there is no guarantee that the domestic proceedings will end in a timely manner allowing for a trouble-free garbage collection There will be selected contractors who will provide this service from January 1. The work of the call for tenders is advanced, probably the work will start in the summer, "say the officials of the town hall
