The accident occurred Thursday, November 29 after midnight. The dispatcher was informed that a traffic accident had occurred at the gas station in Obrow. Police officers from the Toruń Municipal Police Traffic Department found a car located in a ditch on the spot. The driver, probably on the road, lost control of Opel Corsa and drove.
In the car, at the time of the accident, there were 7 people. Two of them – a driver and one of the passengers – were killed instantly. Two 16-year-old men and a 24-year-old man went to the hospital. Another passenger, aged 32, was sent to Toruń's Sobering Chamber. The last man, aged 29, was wanted and went to the police detention center.
The circumstances and causes of the event are explained by the police. The municipal police in Torun appealed to the witnesses of the event for personal contact at ul. GrudziÄ … dzska 17 or by phone numbers 56 641 26 07, 56 641 26 09, 112 or 997.
