Arkadiusz Milik has opened a restaurant in Katowice Gallery
On Tuesday November 27 at 13 the opening of the Food & Ball restaurant Arkadiusz Milik took place. The restaurant is located in the Galeria Lidero in Katowice (Kosciuszki Street 229), on the second level, similar to other gastronomic spots.
Milik appoints his restaurant, whose co-owner is Grzegorz Kowalczyk. It was he who, on the first day, played the role of the host and assured that this 24 year old player will certainly visit the premises of Katowice.
– There were a lot of questions about whether Arek will be opening. Unfortunately, no, because he has a Champions League tomorrow, but he visits us whenever he is in Poland. Yesterday, when I spoke to him, he was very curious about what was happening here – said Kowalczyk.
Food & Ball in Katowice. What's on the menu? Which prices?
The restaurant must combine food and football. – But the ball in different versions, also basketball, volleyball, tennis. We will broadcast all sports events, we also have all sports channels – assured Grzegorz Kowalczyk. The work at the Food & Ball restaurant lasted two years.
Katowicki Food & Ball will probably be the beginning of a gastronomic network. – In fact, we will create a network. Katowice is the first, because we are here, and Arek started in the development of Katowice. But it is also because the gastronomy is so complex that you have to take care of it, I am on the spot to be able to go there every day. We have to see if that will go in which direction, but we are thinking of the next local, I think it will be in Warsaw – said the co-owner.

The menu of the Food & Ball restaurant is supervised by the chef – Damian Mucha, while the chef of the bar is Krzysztof Ciemiera. The menu is typically a restaurant with appetizers, meat, fish and vegetarian dishes, desserts and dishes for children, but the lunch menu also includes burgers. On the other hand, the bar is ruled by drinks and cocktails whose names leave no doubt that this place puts football. These include League of Nations, Turf, Pele, Zidane, Diego, Roses, Hattrick, Sparring, Copa America, Burned, Yellow Card, Winger, Chronometer, Golkiper and Coach.
Arkadiusz Milik followed in the footsteps of Robert Lewandowski and decided to invest in Poland. While the Bayern Munich striker is mainly active in the real estate market, his younger teammate is taking his first steps in the restaurant business.
