The Audi electric family, which currently has only two members – & hairsp; Audi e-throne and Audi e-tron Sportback – will soon develop. For the moment, the concept, but in a moment the production Audi e-tron GT will join him.

This time it is something for people who value the sporty style, but do not give up the versatility. The technical solutions of this vehicle have been created in close collaboration with the Porsche brand. Whatever it is, you can even find stylistic similarities. A model similar to the A7 model must be a real rocket.

590 hp of two engines and 400 km of autonomy

An electric missile because its propulsion consists of two electric motors – one on the axis – of a total power of 590 hp. This level is close to the fastest five-door RS6 and RS7 models. It must accelerate up to 100 km / h in about 3.5 seconds and up to 200 km / h in 12 seconds. How inadequate is the maximum speed of only 240 km / h. However, this level is close to the typical German limiters (250 km / h), in order to increase the range.

This one is supposed to be around 400 km thanks to a lithium-ion battery of 90 kWh. It is flat, placed on the ground, thanks to which the car has an extremely low center of gravity, comparable to that of the sporty R8.

The car itself is very low. The concept of completely flat flooring has been used here, but you may feel that a body is very flat. It measures 4.96 m long, 1.96 m wide and 1.38 m high. The entire roof consisted of carbon composite, many aluminum components and all the supports were made of high strength steel. Porsche was used to build the body and place components.

Loading in two ways, also without cable

The Audi e-tron GT concept battery can be loaded in two ways: use of a cable or wireless – induction with the Audi wireless charging system. In this case, the charging plate in which the electric coil is located is permanently mounted in the ground of the parking space and is connected to the mains. Thanks to the charging power of 11 kW, the e-tron GT battery charges during the night.

The cable charging is also very efficient because the car connects to the 800 volt system. To charge the battery at a value of about 80%. its capacity is about 20 minutes. Of course, you can also load e-trona with traditional chargers.
