The e-tron in the muscular version of GT is a conceptual electrician presented at a car dealership in Los Angeles. The four-door coupe is expected to come into production in 2020 and, for customers, in early 2021.

This is another electric Audi that the German company wants to market. In September of this year the Audi electric SUV e-tron was introduced. The Audi e-tron Sportback is to be presented for the first time next year. From here 2025, Audi plans to have 12 electric car models.

The car fits in the proportions of the classic Gran Turismo. The Audi e-tron GT concept measures 4.96 m long, 1.96 m wide and 1.38 m high. The wheelbase is 2.9 m.

The drive consists of two non-stop synchronous electric motors, one for each axis. The power goes to all four wheels. Audi calls this system an "electric quattro". The operating mode of the drive and the coordination of the operation of the two axles and all the wheels belong to the electronic control system.

As the manufacturer assures, the e-tron GT must accelerate from 3.5 seconds at a speed of 0 to 100 km / h and up to 200 km / h in 12 seconds. The maximum speed is limited to 240 km / h. The estimated autonomy of the car is 400 km.

Interestingly, all the products used to finish the interior are artificial. Audi in the new model has completely abandoned animal products. The armchairs were covered with ecological leather, the rest consisting of fibers from the recycling of fishing nets. The lining is made of Econylon, a fiber also derived from old networks.

The price of the Audi e-tron GT is not yet known, but it will likely oscillate around $ 80,000, which is exactly the amount you currently have to pay for Tesla S.
