Budimex and Strabag will build part of the A1 car parks

The Łódź branch of the Directorate General of Highways and National Highways has chosen the contractor for the last of the four sections of the A1 motorway in the Kamieńsk – Radomsko region, which must have a length of 16.7 km. Previously, the entrepreneurs of section A Tuszyn – Piotrków Trybunalski were selected, which will also realize PLN 478.873 million for the consortium of Budimex – Strabag. Episode B Piotrków Trybunalski – Kamieńsk for a gross amount of 678.47 million PLN will be made by Przedsiębiorstow Budowy Dróg i Mostów Kobylarnia and Mirbud. A contract for section A1 missing in Silesia

Monday, GDDKiA signed with the company Polaqua a contract worth 596, 5 million gross PLN concerning the construction of the missing section E in Silesia province. It is close to 17 km from the road between Częstochowa and the border with Lodz.

GDDKiA informed earlier that it intends to finance section A of 618.1 million gross PLN, section B – 943 million PLN gross, section C – 651.5 million gross PLN and section D – PLN 273.6 million gross

A fragment of the A1 motorway between the Tuszyn and Piotrków Zachód interchanges will, as now, have two lanes in each direction. Between the intersections of Piotrków Zachód and Piotrków Południe, the current section of the two lanes will be preserved, with four lanes, and between the intersections of Piotrków Południe and Częstochowa, the route will be extended from two to three lanes in each direction [19659005] An 81 km section of the A1 highway in the province.
