Construction A1: There is another contractor of the A1 highway PHOTOS WITH DRONA

– A week ago we signed a contract for the section in Silesia province, today we are the first to sign in Lodz province, and in the coming weeks we plan to sign contracts for three remaining episodes. As a result, the entire A1 road in Poland will be used or implemented – said Jacek Gryga, as general manager of national roads and motorways in Warsaw.

The contractor for the 16-kilometer section A1 was a consortium of STRABAG Sp.

z o.o. (partner, 50%) and Budimex SA (leader, 50%). The contract signed on Monday concerns the construction of 16 km from the A1Tuszyn highway on section A of the Tuszyn knot (without the knot) until the node of Bełchatów (with a knot).

The investment will be completed within 32 months of the signing of the contract (with the exception of the construction periods of the winter periods of December 15 to March 15). The new section will run in the existing lane of the A1 Tuszyn – Piotrków Trybunalski, built in the eighties.

The investment will be created in the "design and build" system.

– Two years ago we handed the ring road to Łódź, now we are building the Częstochowa bypass. I am pleased that STRABAG will implement the next sections of the A1 motorway. As a result, a full motorway link will be established between Polish ports and southern Europe – says Wojciech Trojanowski, member of the board of STRABAG Sp. Z o.o.

Under the new contract, a 16-kilometer section of the highway with a concrete surface will be constructed. It will have two lanes, two lanes in each direction and one lane of urgency. There will be 2 crossroads: Piotrków knot connecting Warsaw – Częstochowa and Warsaw – Łódź and Bełchatów linking Piotrków – Bełchatów (A1 motorway) to DK 74 and 17 works of art, including: 10 objects on the motorway, 6 objects in the highway 1 footbridge The scope of work will also include the construction of cross-roads and access, security components and marking, environmental protection devices: acoustic screens, equipment rainwater pretreatment, fencing and 15 animal crossings, 12 culverts with ecological function and greening elements.

The company Strabag is also the entrepreneur of two sections A1 currently under construction in the Silesian Voivodeship. He builds sections H (Zawodzie – Woźniki) and section I (Woźniki – Pyrzowice). We invite you to look at the photo gallery of the drone of these investments.
