The Ministry of Energy does not consider wind farms on the ground as part of its energy policy. Their participation in the mix should be determined by the market, ie the price of energy – according to Deputy Minister of Energy, Grzegorz Tobiszowski.
– There have been administrative comments on energy policy, to the detriment of the construction of a new
legs, or off, we plan to stop the windmills on the mainland. These are incorrect words. We are building a second step to not amputate the first. (…) It would be irrational to amputate what is going well for us – said Tobiszowski at Wednesday's conference.
– We are building a system, synergy of production relations in the Polish energy sector. After 2030, the market will start to work. The introduction of energy at the right price will be what will ensure participation in this market. Such a system works in other countries – he added.
He reiterated that auctions of onshore wind farms are scheduled for next year.
Draft energy policy
The Polish energy policy project was presented Friday at the Ministry of Energy. The ministry has also directed it to public consultations that will continue until mid-January.
The project shows that in 2030, "green energy" is responsible for 21%. energy consumption. This translates into a 27% share of SER in energy consumption.
How does the government want to achieve this goal? "This will require a significant economic and organizational effort," the PEP project said.
The development of photovoltaics (solar collectors) and offshore wind farms plays a key role. The first farm of this type will only be launched after 2025.
The ministry also referred to traditional onshore wind farms. The government paper shows that the amount of energy produced by them will continue to increase for several years, but will begin to decline.
How does the department explain this decision? Minister Krzysztof Tchórzewski on Friday emphasized political arguments – the social opposition and the implementation of the electoral promises of law and justice. Politicians have promised to block the development of wind farms.
