The threat of closure of Biedronka stores is pending? They wanted the Solidarity Reds, but they have little luck. The so-called collective dispute between Biedronka and Solidarity. Trade unionists threaten to strike across Poland, but they are a margin.

The fifth meeting of Solidarity trade unionists with the owners of Biedronka has not made decisive progress. Only one discrepancy report was written.

– We do not see the willingness to reach an agreement from the council. We feel that our arguments are not taken into account at all. We hear only "no" – Piotr Adamczak from Solidarność entrusted Gazeta Prawna. – We are preparing to start a referendum on the strike, that is to say the initiation of an action during which the employees will not perform their duties. For this to happen, half of the workers must accept it – he added.

Unions are not increases, but changes to the bonus system, which currently subordinate the amount of the premium to the absence of sick leave and to the request for leave during a month. Which is normal – you work more, you get more, but you do not like the "workers".

In addition, they require an increase in the use of stores, limitations of tasks and duties of employees and the creation of a separate warehouse for the store. They want to work less for the same salary.

They also require stores to be equipped with additional electric forklift trucks and air conditioning.

The company hopes to agree and hopes that the strike will not result in the closure of Biedronka stores.

– For many years we have been conducting an open dialogue with all the unions active in the company. The overriding objectives that guide us are both the implementation of activities that have a positive impact on the work of more than 65,000 employees and the satisfaction of our customers' expectations – Arkadiusz Mierzwa, head of corporate communications at Jeronimo Martins Polska SA, wrote in a press release.

Mierzwa points out that the Solidarity trade union only gathers 2.5%. employees of the company. And only Solidarność has a collective dispute with the company, and the trade unions are three others.
