A Secret Service agent traveling with President Trump as part of his security measures died in Scotland after suffering a serious stroke. Nathan Rousseau Smith has history.

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump met Wednesday with the family of a secret service agent who died on a trip.
Trump and first lady Melania Trump traveled to the Andrews Common Base in Maryland, where the body of Special Agent Nole Edward Remagen was sent back to the United States.
Remagen, a 19-year veteran of the secret service, suffered a stroke over the weekend while he was on duty to protect the president in Scotland. He died Tuesday after the president returned to Washington.
"Our hearts are filled with sadness at the loss of a special agent, a beloved and dedicated husband and father," said Trump in a statement. "At the time of his death, he was among the elite heroes who serve in the Presidential Protection Division of the Secret Service."
Trump left the White House to meet the Remagen family at the base shortly after 1 pm and returned two hours ago Trump met with NATO allies last week, went to the United Kingdom to meet British Prime Minister Theresa May and on Monday held a series of meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin
. Over the weekend, Trump visited a golf club he owns in Turnberry, Scotland.
The officer was a victim of a stroke Sunday and was treated in Scotland. Remagen leaves behind a woman and two young children
The Secret Service has about 3,200 agents, of which the "Wall of Honor" has 36 agents. who has died in the performance of his duties since 1902.
Christopher Smith, died of a heart attack in 2005, is the last dead on the wall.
