Electricity sellers are asking for an average 30% increase in rates for households in 2019 – said Wednesday the spokesman of the Energy Regulatory Office, Agnieszka Głośniewska. The Bureau is currently conducting tariff procedures.

As Agnieszka Głośniewska pointed out, the level at which electricity prices will be determined in 2019 in households will only be known at the end of the pricing process.
The binding tariffs for energy sales to residential customers are valid until 31 December of this year. In order for the new rates to come into effect early in the year, the ERO president is expected to complete the procedure in mid-December.
