The bids for the construction of the Ostrołęka C power station were opened at the end of December 2017. The lowest price was offered by China Power Consulting Engineering Group – 4.849 billion gross PLN. The GE Power consortium and Alstom Power Systems offered a gross price of PLN 6.023 billion; and the Polimex-Mostostal Consortium and Rafako – PLN 9,591 billion gross. In April of this year the Ostrołęka Power Plant selected a consortium of GE Power Sp. Z oo In addition, at the end of June, Polimex-Mostostal concluded a letter of intent with GE Power concerning the cooperation in the construction of the Ostrołęka C power station. On their basis, the parties have expressed their intention to conclude a subcontracting contract. the following options: construction work, delivery of steel structures and assembly of steel structures. In addition, the parties may, as a separate arrangement, cooperate in the field of design work and other services and deliveries required for the project.
