- The financial problems were defeated by Turów Zgorzelec activists. The team withdraws from the league
- The licenses were not awarded to BM Slam Stal Ostrów Wielkopolskie and MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza
- The teams have a week to appeal
On the Turow's financial problems (10th place last season)) has long been known, but President Mirosław Kabała announced that he was doing everything to ensure that the group continues to perform in the elite . Meanwhile, Turow withdrew its request explaining this "restructuring under current Club legislation". At the same time, it was reported that the Polish energy group – or sponsor – still wants to support basketball in Zgorzelec, also in the professional dimension. This in combination with the words on the restructuring may mean a desire to create a new entity that (rather) could not play in the LBE, but perhaps in the lower leagues
BM Slam Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski and MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza have a week to appeal refusal to grant a license. What was the reason? – The clubs have been carefully informed. I do not want to talk about it in public, but there are a few things. Contrary to what many people have suggested, this year's audit was done very carefully and the effects can be seen. Clubs have the right to appeal. I do not want to speculate on the chances of success – says the league president, Radosław Piesiewicz. According to unofficial reports, the deficiencies belong to the category "to be repaired", and in both clubs, they are rather good thoughts and, of course, they intend to appeal
MKS, probably the unpaid arrears of the three courts (KTA and BAT), which we wrote a few days ago. In MKS, however, they ensure that all three cases are settled on Thursday, the day before the decision on the license. The steel, however, has problems, among others with the lobby. In the past two seasons she has played in a small school, but now the league is not very willing to grant permission for other performances in this venue. At the same time, another development is underway, whose completion, according to the announcement, is scheduled for December / January. It is possible that Stal can play only games outside.
14 teams were authorized: Anwil Włocławek, Arka Gdynia, AZS Koszalin, GTK Gliwice, King Szczecin, Legia Warsaw, City of Glass Krosno, Polpharma Starogard Gdański, Poland Sugar Toruń, Rosa Radom, Stargard Spójnia, Stelmet Enea C. Zielona Góra, TBV Start Lublin and Trefl Sopot.
