Folx was only present on the telecommunications market for half a year, and it is already rolling the guns

The Folx network, launched in early December 2017, appears as a truly innovative virtual operator. The company provided telecommunication services on a monthly basis, the starters were sent to customers by courier and the account was managed by the application. The idea was interesting, but – as they say – the operator probably did not support the "pressure of success".

The operation of the Folx network was based on cooperation with the operator Play – the transmitters of this network transmitted the signal to the SIM cards ordered by the subscribers. Subscribers, or perhaps more precisely – subscribers, because just such a payment model for services adopted by the company. Users connected their credit card to Folx and received PLN 29.99 per month for unlimited calls to all mobile and landline networks, unlimited SMS and MMS for all mobile networks and a 20 GB internet package.

Invitation system, the transition to Folx was profitable – thanks to the use of the order code of someone, you could get a month of free service. In addition, new users could choose any number from a huge database, so if anyone had an idea of ​​a memorable digits system, he certainly benefited from it.

SIM cards were delivered directly to customers by mail. , Łódź, Poznań, Trójmiasto, Warsaw, Wrocław, the agglomeration of Silesia, Bialystok, Bydgoszcz, Częstochowa, Lublin or Szczecin. The account could be easily managed by the iOS or Android app.

This is all past because Folx informs on its website that as of July 12, 2018, the service will no longer be available and the company has decided to leave. You can no longer download the Folx app for smartphones.

If we use the Folx offer, we must expect the number to be deactivated one month after the beginning of the new accounting period . For example, if our billing period begins on the 20th day of each month, the number will cease to be active on September 20th.

It is unfortunate that Folx did not work, and I have the impression that they really tried. On the information page we read:

"We were created because we had commitments for years, waiting lines for trade shows, consultants and celebrity ads. This is why we decided to create a network where you do not need anything – as in our favorite applications where the subscription replaces contracts and refills. "
