The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued first and second degree warnings for the whole country. Warnings relate to hot weather and severe storms.

Voivodeships from Zachodniopomorskie and Pomorskie are excluded from the warnings. The most difficult situation (level II) concerns the following provinces: Western Pomerania, Pomerania, Mazovia (western part), Greater Poland, Lubuskie, Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Łódź and Silesia (northern and central part), Świętokrzyskie and the northern part of Malopolska.
The warning applies to heat reaching 32 degrees Celsius and storms to hail.
"We recommend caution, the need to follow messages and weather conditions, to follow all recommendations issued by emergency services in case of emergency, to adapt your plans to weather conditions, "says the message.
A first level warning has been issued for the rest of Poland. Storms are expected everywhere, as well as storms with hail.
In the Voivodeships of Dolnośląskie and Opolskie, in addition, the heat, however – according to the current information of the IMGW – the first atmospheric discharges have already passed in this area and the noticeable temperature can be slightly lower.
