– I realize the responsibility that I have taken on myself. About the captain of the Polish National Team:
– I did not think for a moment about the change of captain. I have met several competitors personally, with a few speaking on the phone. I asked their attitude and their approach. – Foreign leagues start only at the end of the month of August, so first appointments will not be made primarily for observation. At first, I want to see players live – at training, during matches. I want to talk to the team, introduce my concept and make the most of my time.
– Everyone has a chance to call. However, they must be evaluated from the point of view of prospects and the possibility of creating a representation in the future. We will not be limited to the list of players observed, because there may be always someone new. For me, the most important is to introduce new players, but not for quantity, only for quality. I want to create the strength of this team.
