Compensation of employees of the National Tax Administration (KAS) will increase by 15.51 PLN next year, from 655 PLN gross. This is the most important registration of the agreement signed on November 21 by union representatives and Marian Banas, Deputy Minister of Finance and Chief of KAS. This information was provided by Śląsko-Dąbrowska Solidarność.
– This will be the first such significant increase for many years, and basically the first as big in the entire history of taxation. Compensation in the tax administration has been frozen for 8 years. The PO-PSL government did not even value them for inflation. At the time, the tax regulations had been amended many times, resulting in more and more obligations – said Dominik Lach, president of the Trade Union of Solidarity Employees of the United States. Increases in the national tax administration
The chairman pointed out that the posts were blocked at the same time. In places of retirement and dismissal, no new employees were hired. In exceptional situations, an extra person had to replace two people who were leaving. – There were more and more tasks, fewer and fewer people. Off-hours work has become the standard for which tax department employees are not paid. For ten years, we have been fighting for paid overtime – adds the head of Treasury Solidarity in the province of Silesia.
Before signing the document, Marian Banaś informed representatives of trade unions that the next increases in employees of the National Tax Administration would be received by 2020.
In early November, members of the Celnicy PL union sent a letter to Finance Minister Teresa Czerwińska. It reads among others:
According to the opinion of the Prime Minister, thanks to our work and our services, billions more zlotys are planned for help programs and increases for other professional groups! And if, during the construction of the budget, they do not remember us anymore! They can only give us constantly work and tasks. They treat us like objects! They only introduce animosities and disturb the environment!
