The Boeing 737 of Indonesian Lion Air could not fly the day before the disaster – reported Indonesian investigators. The plane crashed on October 29 in the Java Sea, just after taking off from Jakarta airport, killing 189 people.

The day before, during a Bali-Jakarta flight, the plane had had similar technical problems with the system, supposed to prevent the loss of the carrier's force, officials said.

"This is the basis of our expertise for Lion Air, in our opinion, the aircraft was not fully operational," said the head of the Indonesian committee for transport safety.
