ING Bank Śląski offers a refund of monthly fees for the debit card issued to the account. Interested customers should hurry, however, complaints can be submitted by September 20th.
As stated in the message sent to customers of the bank, the refund will include the following monthly fees: Visa Contact, Visa NFC, MasterCard Debit Card – collected between February 1, 2017 and March 31, 2018.
These are situations in which payments made in one month have been settled only in the next. As a result, some customers have not exceeded the minimum purchase amount during a given billing period, which is a condition of fee waiver. With their account, a monthly fee of PLN 7 was billed
The minimum purchase amount is 300 PLN, and for customers aged 18-16 – 200 PLN.
Customers have time to file a complaint by September 20, 2018 year. They can do this via a message sent in "My ING", hotline, in any agency or in writing.
According to the bank representatives, the fees will be reimbursed within 30 days from the date of the complaint.
Since March 29, the bank has introduced new rules for calculating the contingent charge for debit cards issued in the accounts of zloty. After the modifications, the transactions made during the period covered by the fee are taken into account, even if they are settled later.
Previously, other banks, including Bank Millennium, Alior Bank and mBank, also repaid monthly debit card fees. .
