The situation of Janów Podlaski stud caused alarm, the audit was secret, our questions remain unanswered, said journalists Joanna Mucha, Dorota Niedziela, Joanna Kluzik-Rostkowska and Stanisław Żmijan PO after a visit at stud. However, the president of the stud, Grzegorz Czochański, assures that the situation is "stable".

Deputies were Thursday in Janów Podlaski (Lubelskie) with the intervention of deputies. At the press conference that followed its completion, they announced that they would continue to work to reveal the complete situation of the stud farm.

The president of the stud showed that he had given the deputies the information that he "could transmit". "Documents containing personal data, or relating to business matters and constituting a trade secret, have not been transferred" – he said. He added that the same principle would answer the questions that were left to him, after having analyzed them with a lawyer.

Asked about the reasons for the poor financial results of the stud, he replied that "the company operates under certain conditions". "There are periods of better prosperity, there are periods of more difficult economic times, I hope that the slowdown is already behind society." We are optimistic in the future, added Mr. Czochański.

The wife of Dorota Niedziela said that according to unofficial information available to deputies, the stud would be bankrupt. "A letter from the head of the stud at KOWR has come out, indicating that the stud can lose its financial liquidity. We know that the magazine was published, but the president refused to show us this magazine today", a- she declared.

As was recalled Sunday, the stud in 2015 had a profit of 3.2 million zlotys, while in 2017, it had recorded a loss of 1.5 million zlotys. "The financial results are accompanied by a strange report indicating that the impersonal salaries have been multiplied by six: the contracts for specific works amounted to PLN 96 000 in 2015 and to PLN 663 000 in 2017" – added Niedziela.

She pointed out that the president of the stud farm had treated MPs "exceptionally unfavorable". He did not agree to share the requested documents, including the stud audit conducted in 2016 and covering the years 2013-2015. "He insisted that the audit of Janów included a confidentiality clause and would not show it to us, hence our finding that there is a lot of unfavorable information in this audit, we could show what was the situation in 2015 compared to 2017. We call you the president to disclose the audit "- she said.

Sunday stressed that if the audit was not disclosed, the deputies of the PO would ask it before the administrative court. She added that the deputies had left the president of the stud with 13 written questions concerning the audit, the sale of horses, the organization of the Arabian Horse Days and other specific questions for which they are waiting for answers. .
