Karol Wojtyła: Totus tuus – The Poles create a game about the pope

Mobinet Games, based in Poznań, has been launched on the portal Polakpotrafi.pl a collection of money for a new project titled Karol Wojtyła: Totus Tuus. As is not difficult to guess, the production tells the story of the Polish pope. The game must represent the genre of the visual novel and tell the story of the young Karol Wojtyła through dialogues. In addition, the creators opted for an anime style visual style, which has the potential to attract young players, but also outrage the older ones who could treat it as an affront. The production must be created within 6 months, that is to say we must expect the end of the current year.. The developers also promise a demo version, available after 3 months of work.

The title is supposed to offer 8 different purposes, which depends on the choices made by the player.. The action of the game must take place in the years of the pope's youth. Imagine Karol Wojtyla, who finally decides not to follow the path of faith. Creators also assume other options:

The distribution model of the game also seems interesting. Otó¿ Karol Wojtyła: Totus Tuus is to be a completely free production. As the authors write, it is important for them that the Catholic message reaches everyone. They therefore also decided to pay any amount. In short: if you want to support the company, send them "what comfort". The base amount that the creators wish to collect is PLN 25,000 (of which 6 to 7,000 for graphics, 10,000 programs, $ 1,000 for sound and up to 2,000 for marketing).

If, however, you could collect more money, the company intends to enrich the stock with new options:

1. 30,000 zloty – mobile version
2. 35,000 zlotys – 3 additional games are over
3. 40,000 zlotys – international distribution
4. PLN 45,000 – DLC Popiełuuszko: Give me strength, Christ (18+)

As we already mentioned the add-on, the creators have presented an interesting idea to extend the story of the game, in which you will learn more about the fate of Jerzy Popiełuszko. DLC would be a parallel story independent of the main theme of the "stand". Due to the mature theme, the supplement will only be intended for adult players.

DLC will talk about Jerzy Popiełuszko's struggle with a totalitarian system.

The soundtrack of the game will also be important. Mobinet Games was assured that their production included a unique audio layer. The complete soundtrack is composed of 18 tracks, many of which can be listened to now channel of society.

Regardless of the first impression that this production may give, the producers insist on the educational value of the game. For people born after two thousand years, the figure of the Polish pope is only a kind of myth. Thanks to this title, it is possible to familiarize the youngest recipients with such an important person.
