Katowice: Vodka beer is a cheap marketing gadget?

The creation of the first vodka beer in Poland, which should have its premium on July 28 in Katowice, caused an avalanche of comments on our portal. As convinced the creators of beer, it was brewed using vaginal bacteria of two models that came to the project. The manufacturers want to conquer mainly the brewing market of Asia and South America with their creation.

But is the vodka beer in Katowice not just his name? According to Michał Stemplowski, the creator of the blog Chmielobroda and expert on the subject, this can be a cheap marketing gadget.

– I had the opportunity to pre-start this beer – says Michał Stemplowski. – What is its "essence", that is, lactic acid bacteria extracted from the models, should not excite anyone. It might as well be taken in the intestines or in the mouth. It's not as if some people could imagine that someone adds slime to the beer – explains the blogger.

As underlined, the vodka beer was already tried in 2016 to be launched. A crowdfunding campaign was announced at that time, but it was not exhausted. Of the estimated 150 thousand euros, about a thousand were collected. The idea has turned out to be a flap. Will it be the same in this case?

– Lactic acid bacteria make beer acidic This beer with vodka is subtle and tangy: we can see that the first violin plays here, because the place from which the bacteria will be collected has no meaning for the taste – says Michał.

Interestingly, the taste of beer does not fundamentally affect the pattern from which the bacteria were taken. – Beers may differ in taste and will probably be, but this is due to the proportion of raw materials used to brew the beer, the parameters and the fermentation process. Just add hops at different intervals and the taste will be different. This is not due to the fact that once the bacteria come from one model, and another time from the other – Stemplowski explains.

What's happening already – before the premiere of beer – is happening in the network and how people react to the creation of this product, the creator of the blog Chmielobroda prefers to describe the black PR as good advertising. – In Poland, it will not be successful, although there are probably those who, with curiosity, want to try this beer – it evaluates.

From a technological point of view, the rise of the expert beer is not surprising either. – It's amazing for marketing – Michał Stemplowski laughs. As he lists, he has tried many more extreme types of beer. – Beer with partially smoked herring or marinated herring, which I do not recommend to anyone, is just something – he says.
