Krakow creches on the list of UNESCO

On 29 November, at the Thirteenth Session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Protection of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in Mauritius, it was decided to include crèches in Krakow on the prestigious list.

Cracow Krakow has been inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Until now, Poland was not represented on this list.

"This is a special moment for all those who take a close interest in Polish heritage," said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture Piotr Gliński, quoted on Twitter by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage .

Currently, Krakow creches professionally interpret about 50 artists.
