Leo Express has long planned to enter the Polish tracks. The Czech carrier has finally managed to launch a long-awaited route to the Czech Republic, as it has received permission to allow Stadler Flirt trains for Polish rail traffic.

Cheap connection from Leo Express

The first journey of the Czech carrier begins on July 20 from Prague at 16:10. He will arrive in Katowice shortly after 21:00, and in Cracow at 23:19 .

The director of LEO Express Polska, Peter Jančovič, invites travelers to take advantage of his offer. As he said, the road to launch this connection has not been easy. – Although the Polish law in terms of vehicles and new players on the market imposes very difficult and unpublished requirements elsewhere, we very much appreciate that with the President of the Railway Transport Office, we have successfully completed the next step start – he said.

Jančovič also noted that competition in the market can have positive effects for both carriers and passengers. According to him, he will give a chance of development for all rail transport.

Ticket prices for LEO Express trains start at 19 PLN (the price depends on the date of purchase). On average, connecting prices from Krakow to Prague cost 60-80 PLN. The entire trip should last about 6.5 hours.
