At least 100 people in several states in the United States became ill with a dangerous parasitic disease. It is possible that the cause is McDonald's salads. The health services of Illinois and Iowa already occupy this issue, as do federal services
. In Illinois alone, about 90 people have suffered from cyclosporosis. According to state authorities, a quarter of infected people ate earlier in salads at McDonald's restaurants shortly before illness.
The network said it was "removing the salads of about 3,000 local, mainly in the Midwestern United States." The media say that there are also state restaurants like Minnesota, Missouri, South Dakota and Wisconsin or Nebraska. The network ensures that it cooperates with US services in this area, but the stop of the sale is only its decision, dictated by the concern of the health of the restaurant's customers.
