According to the Mexican airline company Aeroméxico on Twitter, the Embraer 190 plane flying from the city of Durango to the capital of Mexico has suffered a disaster. It has been added that the machine can take about 100 passengers on board.
In social media, photographs show a burning aircraft and a black smoke rising from Durango airport.
The leading Mexican daily "El Universal", quoting information from the communications and transport secretary, Gerardo Ruiza Esparza, counted 97 passengers and 4 crew members aboard the broken machine.
As Durango Governor José Rosas Aispuro said on Twitter, there are no casualties of a disaster. The AFP agency, citing accident witnesses, speaks of 80 injured in an accident.
