The development program of the armed forces up to 2026 was adopted; Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak signed the regulations establishing the program, the Defense Ministry said Wednesday.

The program for 2017-26 provides for priority treatment of the North-East flank, inter alia by accelerating the formation of the Fourth Division of Task Forces, increasing the completion of the 16th Mechanized Division and the reconstruction of the Antitank Regiment at Suwałki. .

The construction of cyber defense forces, the establishment of a new command and command system for the armed forces, the introduction of new air defense systems and long-range missile defense artillery ( Vistula and Lobster programs), as well as improving support capabilities and combat safety through the formation of logistic regiments and reconnaissance battles. in divisions.
