It is still too early for the violet operator's conventional television, but the network is becoming more and more active in the video market. It's time to host Netflix in Play – we already know the details of the offer.

Rumors about the impending startup of Play's fixed television have proved premature. The decoration during the Christmas conference of the Play network leaves no doubt: the operator thinks intensely about this market. After partnering with the Showmax service and launching the Play Now Internet TV offering, which allows you to watch programs from the HBO channel, it's time to take the next step.

The play in which Play announced that the new promotion was adorned with the Netflix logo. It is the partnership with the largest VOD website in the world that was the focus of today's meeting between operator and media representatives. The new promotion will appeal not only to Netflix customers, but also to other video-on-demand subscribers.

Netflix in Play – details of the offer.

The new promotion relies on the ability to access the Netflix website for 6 months at no extra charge. The service addresses to customers existing and new networks that decide to subscribe to the Play Internet subscription in addition to the voice service.

Users can also use the promotion to access Netflix strictly Solo, Duo, Family and Generations voice rates. Play gives them the opportunity to purchase an additional Internet package for PLN 20 per month – it provides 20 GB of data transfer for any use and the Video Non Stop service, ie an unlimited transfer in some services. video on demand.

With this, customers who purchase this Play plan can watch movies, TV shows, and other programs as part of Netflix, HBO GO, Showmax, and RedBull TV. Simultaneous playback sends a signal on demand to other video services: Non Stop Video is an open service that other content providers can associate with.

Playing does not force customers to pay their subscription to the operator.

The network does not ask its customers to create a new Netflix account. If you have ever used this video-on-demand service, you can associate an existing account with the history of your follow-ups at the subscriber's subscription.

After the promotion, the customer also has the choice: he can continue to easily pay Netflix by adding the service charge to the account or decide to pay it directly to Netflix – and you can choose one of the plans offered by the video service on demand.

The payment of access to the service directly from its creators does not exclude the possibility of using an unlimited transfer as part of the Video Non Stop service, even after opting for the option 4K.

Netflix in 4K? Play is not afraid of him.

Play as part of the promotion offers a Netflix Standard subscription that gives access to content in HD. You can watch them on two devices at the same time. It turns out, however, that nothing stands in the way of choosing the more expensive Netflix Premium package.

The transition to the Netflix Premium package will provide the user with access to 4K video on four devices simultaneously. Do not forget that if the customer of Play chooses the most expensive option, the promotional period will be proportionately shorter.

Netflix in Play will be available on November 30th.

Until now, it is unclear whether it will be a permanent feature of the Play Network offer or just a one-off promotion. The operator has only confirmed that it plans to offer a Netflix access promotion at no additional cost for six months until the end of January.

What's next with TV on Play?

The video offer on the Play network is improving. After the promotion of free access to the Showmax service, the introduction of HBO's Play Now and the offer that gives access to the Netflix service, we are waiting for the next step.

At the conference, Marcin Gruszka also mentioned rumors that Play was moving with fixed television. For the moment, the operator has nothing to say about it.

A spokesman for the Play Network suggested that this message could already appear early next year because the network is "ready to provide television services seriously".
