Just look at the CEV website and the disastrous result of the meeting between Forde VBK and Saint Raphael Var VB (3: 2) to find that something very strange happened in the Norwegian city. The French team won the first two sets at 23 and 15, but the results of the following matches (25: 7, 25: 0, 25: 0) make us wonder what actually happened in this match of the CEV Cup. The Norwegian media say it clearly: "we feel ridiculed", it was said. For an amateur club from Forde, the current champion of Norway, the historic debut of the European Cups were to be a celebration of the entire local community. It turned out to be a big disappointment despite the win.

The completed France team was unable to finish the match in the rules, which confirmed the result in favor of Forde VBK. This does not mean that the A1 League club has already been eliminated from the competition. On December 5th, in the city of Fréjus, the second stage will take place, while Saint-Raphaël will have to win only 3: 0 or 3: 1. This does not change the fact that the club has offended not only the Norwegians, but also their own supporters. On the Facebook profile of Saint Raphael, there are critical comments from fans who believe that the events at Forde have discredited the club internationally.
