The foundation "Do not be afraid" published on the Internet report on pedophilia in the Polish Church. Toruń MP, Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus, and representatives of the "Do not be Afraid" foundation met with Pope Francis to talk about pedophilia in the Polish Church.

For many years, the Polish Church did nothing to protect children and punish the guilty.

The report describes how Polish bishops hid pedophile priests and moved from parish to parish.

– The report will concern violations of secular and religious laws in the activities of Polish bishops. We will present a list of bishops who have hidden or transferred priests. This will be supported by specific welds and documented verdicts – said Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus for the Wirtualna Polska portal ahead of the meeting with Pope Francis. – We will show that the Polish Church for many years did nothing to protect children and punish the guilty. The Polish bishops ignored Ratzinger's 2001 document, which forced the bishops to inform the Vatican of the very presumption of pedophilia.
