PKP PLK and PKP SA announce major investments in Toruń as part of BiT City

Modernization of Toruń Miasto and Toruń Wschodni stations

PKP SA As part of the project, it will modernize two stations – Toruń Miasto and Toruń Wschodni. Thanks to the works, passengers will be able to use a modern and comfortable space at the station. Toruń Miasto and Toruń Wschodni will both be adapted to the needs of people with reduced mobility. Of course, the historical values ​​of the buildings will be preserved.

Modernization takes place under the PKP SA Station Investment Program, which covered about 200 objects in Poland.

Reconstruction of Toruń Miasto

The second edition of the program

This is the next edition of the project BiT City. It serves to improve communication – including railways – in two important cities (as well as between them) in the province of Kujawsko-Pomorskie – Bydgoszcz and Toruń. Passengers already travel more efficiently and comfortably by train between these cities. It allowed the implementation of the first edition of the BiT City program. The travel time has been shortened following the modernization of the Toruń and Bydgoszcz routes.
