– We had a signal that the python was seen over the Vistula – informs the police. The agents also point out that the opinion of experts can be a breakthrough in the case.

Police receive other reports about the python, which was searched for a few weeks in the Warsaw area. This time the animal was to be seen on the boulevards of the Vistula.

Pending the examination of manure

– The police received a report from three people who were on the river from 26 to 27 July, said Commissioner Jarosław Sawicki of the Piaseczno police.

The animal, 40 minutes after midnight, was to be seen in the water, about three meters from the boulevards, between Świętokrzyskie and Śląsko-Dąbrowski bridges. However, the witnesses did not have time to take pictures.

A veterinarian appeared in front of downtown police, who felt that their relationship could be credible. The police believe the same thing. The agents point out that one of the men is a biologist and that everyone was sober.

Moreover, as Sawicki said, the officers will one day get an expert opinion. He studies the excrement found by the tracking dog . Remember, the snake was chasing a dog. – We check if the feces found by him are the feces of a snake. This will be the key – says the policeman –

Long search

The snake moulting was found on the Vistula during the weekend of July 7 to 8. You still do not know how she got there. A vast campaign of exploration began a day later (Monday). The actions have been moved by police officers, WOPR rescuers and representatives of the Animal Rescue Polska Foundation. During the search, traces were found which, according to the researchers, could be left behind by the snake. One of the fishermen also had to say that he had seen a snake that had rushed to the beaver in the vicinity of Otwock

. The warning about the snake was placed on the side of the police – in Piaseczno and in the capital. Anyone with information on this subject was also asked to report it to the police at 22 604 52 13 or the Animal Rescue Polska Foundation, tel: 22 350 66 91.
