President of GNB: Getin Noble Bank still considering a merger with Idea Bank

Getin Noble Bank is still considering a merger with Idea Bank – said Artur Klimczak, chairman of the bank.

"We will resume work on the merger this week, we will have to determine if there are major changes (…) .We do not withdraw from this idea," Klimczak said.

In August, Getin Noble Bank and Idea Bank began their cooperation to analyze and prepare the merger for the study. The banks have indicated that if the results of the analyzes show that the merger is justified, they must define the initial conditions of this process and the principles of cooperation for its preparation.
