The November report of the National Bank of Poland clearly showed previous price expectations. It is estimated that in 2019, average increases in consumer goods and services range from 2.6% to 3.9%. This could even mean a doubling of the current rate of price growth, which had risen by 1.8% in October. If the predictions of the economists of the NBP prove successful, this will mean the highest inflation of Poland since 2012.
One of the main factors conducive to inflation, on which the NBP is attracting attention, is a significant increase in energy costs – writes Money.pl.
According to the portal, economists from other banks do not predict the black scenario, but they admit that electricity bills can be particularly high.
