So we appeal to the Prime Minister: instead of grilling, give the taxpayers a surplus. So, finally, lower the taxes!

After October, the budget surplus amounted to 6.5 billion zlotys – announced Tuesday the Ministry of Finance in a statement on the execution of the state budget for the period from January to October 2018.

According to the communication, budgetary revenues for this period amounted to PLN 309.4 billion, or 87%. PLN 302.9 billion was spent on the budget, 76.3%. amounts planned for this year. Thus, the surplus amounted to 6.5 billion zlotys.

The information explained that between January and October 2018, state budget revenues had increased by 14.4 billion zlotys compared to the same period last year. State budget tax revenues increased by 7.7%, about 20.3 billion zlotys.

It was stated that compared to the same period of the previous year, VAT revenues had increased by 5.4%. year-on-year (about PLN 7.3 billion); Excise duty and gaming tax revenues increased 5.2%. year-on-year (around PLN 3 billion); Personal income tax revenues increased 13.7%. year-on-year (approximately 5.8 billion zlotys); CIT's revenues increased by 16.5%. year-on-year (around PLN 4.1 billion); the tax revenue of some financial institutions was up 3.7%. year-on-year.

"The high incomes from PIT and CIT taxes result from a good labor market situation and high tax payments on people who run a business because of good economic conditions." CIT's high incomes are also related to measures taken to strengthen the income tax system "- explains the Ministry of Finance.

It was also reported that at the end of October this year the non-tax revenue amounted to around 24.0 billion zlotys and was about 6.1 billion zlotys (or 20.2%) lower than the previous year. in the period from January to October 2017. "This is explained by the payment of NBP profit in June 2017, an amount of 8.7 billion zlotys, which was not the case in 2018" – explains MF.

According to the announcement, state budget spending after ten months of 2018 amounting to 302.9 billion zlotys, or 76.3%. the plan means that, compared to the same period of 2017 (PLN 292.4 billion), it was up by 10.6 billion zlotys. "However, when analyzing expenses incurred against the plan, they are at a level similar to that after ten months of 2017 (or 76% of the plan)," he added.

In mid-November, Finance Minister Teresa Czerwińska announced that preliminary budget implementation information indicated that after 10 months, the budget showed a surplus of about 6 billion euros. zlotys. She specified that the exact amount of the surplus would be known after verification of all data.

The budget law for 2018 provided for a deficit of PLN 41.5 billion. However, in the justification of the draft budget for next year, the Ministry of Finance said that he expected that the deficit at the end of this year would reach 23.76 billion zlotys. According to data from the Ministry of Finance, the budget surplus amounted to PLN 3.2 billion after September 2018.

This math shows that nearly 20 billion too many have been downloaded. It's time to act honestly and simply make it to the rightful owners.
