On Sunday, July 22, we will no longer shop in malls and supermarkets. Under the Trade Discrimination Act, in July, which has five Sundays, until three Sundays are non-commercial. According to the regulations, the points of sale will be open on the last Sunday of the month, July 29th. A similar situation this year will only appear in September.

Where can you shop on a Sunday with a trade ban?

The Sunday trade ban does not cover all commercial establishments. Pharmacies, press shops, restaurants, cafes and petrol stations can function normally. The majority of opening hours in the previous hours have been announced by the shopping centers of larger cities and non-supermarkets that are located there. The Sunday Trade Ban Act does not include stores located in railway stations. This is the case of the five branches of the Biedronka chain located in Warsaw, Krakow, Poznań and Grudziądz railway stations.

In addition, the stores will also be closed on the following days:
