Preparations for the modernization of Bialystok Station are under way. The area was fenced and the car park was closed. Drivers get angry. Because they have a problem with stopping in the area. The most difficult is the arrival of Warsaw trains.
They also do not have a car where to place taxi drivers. – Our stop was closed, so we placed where it will fall – says Piotr Stępnicki, one of the taxi drivers.

– We are queuing, we keep our places. It turns out we are arguing about them – says Stanisław Pałkiewicz, another taxi driver.
So we asked why the railway just before the start of the investment did not separate the parking spaces and how did it solve the problem of their lack? We did not have the answer.
– We are aware of the difficulties. Now it's worse, so it would be better – said Tomasz Leś, spokesman for PKP.
He recalls that the works include the old car park and the adjacent area. 120 parking spaces must be arranged here. But that will only happen at the beginning of 2020. Because then the modernization of the station has to be completed.
