The former head of the Polish Financial Supervisory Authority, Marek Chrzanowski, was arrested Tuesday morning by the Central Office of Anti-Corruption. The actions concerning Chrzanowski result from the notification by the owner of Getin Noble Bank Leszek Czarnecki of the possibility that the KNF president at the time committed a crime.
Sejm Vice President PiS, Ryszard Terlecki, was questioned on Tuesday.
– Polish-Romanian cooperation is one of the priorities of our foreign policy – said Terlecki, without answering journalists' questions about the ABC's arrest of the former head of the KNF , Marek Chrzanowski, and his relations with the president of the NBP, Adam Glapiński.
– I repeat that we are talking about military and political cooperation with our Romanian friends and partners – continued Terlecki.
On Tuesday, the Sejm organizes a conference entitled "Poland and Romania facing the current challenges of the region", which address issues related to security and cooperation within NATO and the Union European. Marshal Terlecki was placed under the honorary patronage of the conference.
The reporters followed for a minute and a half the hallways of Terlecki, but he still has not answered questions. TVN24 reporter Radomir Wit asked the Sejm vice-president if he trusted Adam Glapiński without the answer being given.
– As a party in power, do you have anything to blame in connection with the KNF? – Another question was asked.
The PiS club manager did not change his mind and decided not to answer.
