The Mazenian fire brigade commander had an unexpected decision to terminate the search. Commissioner Jarosław Sawicki of Poviat Police Headquarters in Piaseczno has announced that there are new signals that someone has seen the snake, the search will be resumed.
– We are still doing things. We do not start the search campaign, because the evidence of the presence of a snake is irrefutable – him, in turn, in conversation with the portal Dawid Fabijański of Animal Rescue.
The Beginning of the Action
It all began on Saturday, July 7, when Animal Rescue Animal Rescue Service Poland informed on Facebook that it had received a report on the discovery of a filly. The service patrol went to the place indicated on the Vistula, located in the municipality of Konstancin-Jeziorna. There was a mucus 5.3 meters in length and a circumference of about 0.5 meters. According to the expert, she belonged to an adult tiger python. All traces of evidence indicate that the story with the snake is not a joke and the dangerous reptile is indeed free.
A man came to the police station in Piaseczno, who brought his tiger python to the Vistula a few weeks ago. There, the animal took part in the photo shoot. The photographer, however, assured the reporters of "Wyborcza" that all the reptiles he owned were well protected, and that the snake wanted was to belong to someone else.
The interviewer of "Gazeta Wyborcza" has confirmed that he is involved in photo shoots, in which often bare models for the only cover have the live snakes borrowed from him. He admitted that he had a tiger python and that he was with such a snake on the Vistula a few weeks ago. Internet users have noticed this because the photographer boasts of photos of this river in social media. He went to the police to explain that it was not his animal that was wanted by local agents.
The photographer guessed that he was the one who could see passing a paraglider in the Vistula's environs, and he then told the media that someone was trying to throw a giant snake into the Vistula River. He added, however, that the skinless skin found by Animal Rescue activists could not belong to any of his animals. – I went to Wilanów beach and they are looking for him in Gassach. The snake moves more slowly than a human, it can travel several hundred meters, but not this distance – he told reporters. The police had in fact determined that the snake perceived by the paraglider was not the one sought by the Polish services.
