Thursday before noon, police officers from Jastrzeb were summoned to one of the blocks. Residents reported to co-op employees that there was a terrarium with a pipe in the basement. The woman informed the uniform. The owner of the reptile, according to the inhabitants, was their neighbor.
When the police arrived, they found a terrarium with a snake measuring about 2 meters. Boa was captured by a specialist and transferred to an animal shelter in Jastrzębie Zdrój.
As spokesperson for Jastrzębie police, young asp. Bogusław Kobeszko, the owner of the snake, will probably answer for violating the provisions of the Nature Conservation Act. It is possible that he is also responsible for endangering the neighbors. – The locals were afraid of this snake, because the strangler was right in the basement of a building – she reported.
