Slayer in the Atlas Arena in Łódź: a farewell to luxury fans [RELACJA]

Slayer came to Lodz as part of the "Final World Tour", announcing that it was the last tour of the group's career. The American legend of thrash metal proudly bears the name of the most brutal and uncompromising music in the world, members of the group had no choice: the farewell was to burst, and after the passage of the artistic tank rage there was nothing left to ruin. And it happened.

I am confident that ruthless music fans, who have invaded the Atlas Arena and have also come from abroad, will record the latest encounter with one of the most important groups in the world. history of music during unforgettable evenings.

Slayer started the show at such a pace that you might fear that the evening's program will take place in half an hour. They "filmed" the audience for 90 minutes, presenting a juicy repertoire and well chosen, consisting of nineteen plays, including the most famous.

At first, they shouted "Repentless", to immediately fight against the madness of the arena of the last vestiges of "Blood Red", put them vertically, as "Disciple" and offer "Suicide Compulsory". Without breathlessness or discouragement, without a routine on the contrary – with a thrilling freshness and authenticity, they "cast" the next songs of the audience, including such milestones as "War Ensemble", "Postmortem", "Payback", " Seasons In The Abyss "", "Dead Skin Mask", "Hell Is Waiting." Without false modesty or criticism, they continued to make music, such as "South of Heaven," "Raining Blood," "Chemical Warfare" and a tribute to guitarist, composer and composer Jeff Hanneman, deceased in 2013. "Angel of Death", of course with the name of the memorable artist inscribed in the logo of the popular beer (as well as the inscriptions "Angel of Death, 1964-2013" and "Still Reigning").

The concert setting is a separate issue that deserves to be highlighted. This time, as with Slayer's concert, it was an exceptionally spectacular musical rite, but fascinating, complementary. Shifting landscapes, great eagles, pentagrams, inverted crosses, team logos to fires pulled in different directions: atmosphere of battle with the world and descent into hell.

Slayer proved that he was in great shape and he really ended up leaving the concert stage, he does it when he dominates immensely the heaviest stage of the stage. Tom Araya has a good vocal time, he also monitors the accuracy of the performance, which has not always been his strong point. In Lodz, he thanked the audience from the bottom of his heart, he managed to say "Dziękuji" best, then he assured me: "I will miss you". Kerry King wipes his guitar with the power of a Canadian desert woodcutter. Paul Bostaph never forgets and leads to the battery, the off-road steamroller. Gary Holt, leader of the Exodus group, shows that he's only an excellent guitarist. And the extraordinary power always carries the message of the group – people exasperated by our almighty and indomitable ability to self-annihilate, without reconciling themselves with the fact that with great possibilities we have built a world that is not the best.

During a highly publicized concert, they also performed Obituary, Anthrax, played by the notes, alongside Slayer, Metallica and Megadeth for the big thrash metal and Lamb Of God with the great singer Randy Blyther.

After more than 37 years on stage, with twelve studio albums and numerous concerts, more than three thousand concerts have been performed all over the world. He has received five nominations and two Grammy Awards. He has also presented his own exhibition at the Smithson Institute, honoring the covers of hundreds of magazines and the surviving illness. the death of one of the group's founders – Slayer, one of the best thrash / metal / punk bands, has decided to bid farewell to fans. There is no other word for what and how they did, except: respect and esteem!
