There is only one real guardian of Spider-Man in New York and it is Peter Parker. He has been doing it for 10 years. And he is doing it well. He fights with Green Goblin, Kingpin and other bad guys. As is known in comics, each universe has its own Spider-Man. Following certain actions by Wilson Fisk, several other Pajączki fall into the reality of Miles Morales. Their presence can make the big apple cease to exist and the whole world be behind it. To counter this, the newly formed team will have to support each other, which will not be so easy when there is a novice in their ranks.
Screenwriters Phil Lord and Rodney Rothman, inspired by notebooks Amazing Spider-Man. Spiderversum (also published in Poland by Egmont) written by Dan Slott decided to change this story a bit. They have reduced the number of parallel realities and different versions of Spider-Man, so as not to bring chaos to their story. They focused on several very sensitive heroes. The reason for the Pajączek meeting of different worlds has also changed. The main antagonist is not Morlun, but Kingpin. I like this difference a lot, especially because the writers gave Fisk a very interesting motive. Human. One that viewers will understand the place.
Spider-Man Uniwersum is a title that addresses both the young fans of Pajączka and these adults. The humor is balanced here, but it's 100% comic. Peter Parker jokes left and right, as in comics. Whatever it is, all animation features a comic. From time to time, there are frames with short information, exactly what we can see on the boards. Their number, however, is not overwhelming. They appear in characteristic moments and conquer only the atmosphere of history. They are a form of story used by the heroes.
The pace of action is crazy, but it does not bother the viewer. It's so well balanced that time runs out so fast that we do not even know when. And this movie is not the shortest. A lot of things are happening here in the first minute. From time to time, there are familiar faces of enemies and friends of Pajączka. Of course, comic fans will quickly know who's who, so some twists in the story will not surprise them. This, however, does not take away the joy of projection.
I also like the abandonment of Peter Parker as the main character and draw the viewer's attention to Miles. A boy who is just learning to become a spider and is looking for a mentor. A list of his personal problems related to assimilation into a new school and a lack of understanding on the part of parents with newly acquired powers fits into a consistent picture. His moral dilemmas go to every spectator. We are able to identify it on many levels.
The very selection of Spider Paks, which must appear in this film, is brilliant. And the idea that Nicolas Cage would vote for Spider-Man Black is a success. The actor is awesome in this role. It would be like seeing her repeat this creation in an actor movie. Personally, I'm disturbed by this combination with Spider-Ham only, but even in comics, I was not a fan of this character, so nothing has changed. He pisses me off with his drawings, but I understand that from the beginning, it was the intention of the creators. It just does not come to me.
For the tradition to be made, Spider-Man Uniwersum we will see and hear Stan Lee, who is also dedicated to this film. I will not say that a tear flowed in my eye when I heard his merry voice.
In addition, Sony has allowed creators to make fun of all the missteps of previous feature films in their animation. So, for example, Peter Parker admits that his dance made by Tobey Maguire in Spider-Man 3 he was embarrassing. It also tramples the competition, but discover it for yourself.
The eye also appreciates how to achieve animation. It's a combination of a comic book with a computer animation. So it's colorful. Dynamically. Cartoons. From the first minute, the viewer sits as if he was hypnotized. The characters move smoothly, which is very important for the movie in which the characters jump and run constantly. It was also possible to avoid a kind of caricature of the characters that appear. Well, apart from Spider-Hama, but it's a planned treatment.
Finally, good news. The film will be screened in Polish cinemas in two versions: English and Polish. And here I have to say that the distributor really surprised me, because in movies such as Jumanji: Przygoda w Jungle Do you know your grandparents? this option has been abandoned. We had Polish dubbing and the performance was poor. Fortunately, the distributor has changed policy.
I have already seen many animations on Pajczku, but apart from those of the 90s, none of them has aroused my taste. Nowadays. Spider-Man Uniwersum is a beautiful animation of the world of Marvel, to which I will be happy to return several times. I'm also happy that Sony has already announced more movies from this universe.
