There are uncomfortable bills that would be too expensive to accept, but rejection would also threaten some losses
A Lesson From the Past
On the example of Kai Godek, PiS showed that he had perfectly done his homework on the Civic Platform. The approach of the PO-PSL coalition to worldview issues was pragmatic and calculative. This has been demonstrated by, among other things, other (futile) attempts to get Sejm bills on partnerships. Platform politicians have not had the same pity for a document prepared by their party colleague Artur Dunin. Everyone knows it in Nowogrodzka. They know that they do not have to do it. People like Kaja Godek and Marek Jurek may get angry and outrage at the political cynicism of the PiS, but in the end they will come back anyway, because no one else on the right has any real causative power
