An increasingly tense situation presents itself at the Lublin Clinical Hospital No. 4. Up to now, due to sick leave, planned receptions have been suspended.
It is not known how long the nurses who started the strike today have left the beds of patients. Maybe for a few hours, day, week or month. It depends on the management of the hospital – says Dorota Ronek of the union of nurses and midwives.
According to her, nearly 100% of the nurses who come to spend the morning, about 300, are only on strike. this is, for example, intensive therapy.
Previous discussions on increases in nursing staff at the Independent Public Clinical Hospital No. 4 (SPSK4) did not bring any agreement. The nurses asked for 1.5 thousand The management, on the other hand, said that the current allowances (including the so-called zembalowy) in the total amount of 850 PLN
According to the nurses, these allowances their still belonged, and adding them to the basic salary causes a small, real salary increase. These are only transfers of various amounts – says Dorota Ronek. She recalled that a collective dispute over wages in this hospital lasted three years.
On Thursday, in the SPSK4, nearly 1.2 thousand people were employed. There were 119 nurses on sick leave, the extended absence of nurses residing here during the second week causes limitations in the operation of the hospital – planned receptions of patients are stopped, the service hospital emergencies are limited.
