Although the law on the Sunday trade ban has been in effect for several months, problem to indicate which Sundays are trading and which ones are – free of any exchange. That's why we prepared a list of commercial Sundays in July 2018 and the following months.

From March 2018, each month the stores are open only two Sundays – the first and the last, in 2019, it will be only a Sunday of the month – the last. Some chain stores have found ways to circumvent the ban on trade and their stores are open even on Sunday with trade bans. Check how the Biedronka will be open, if Lidl, Żabka, Auchan and other stores will be open.
A chance to go shopping on a Sunday with a trade ban may be to go to the ABC store. This chain of stores advertises as stores open every Sunday. Żabka stores have also found a way around the Sunday trade ban – they now work as post offices.
On the days of commercial prohibition, we can go shopping, among other things, in pharmacies and gas stations. There will also be small, open stores in which the owner will stand behind the counter. Żabki and Freshmarkety will also be open. The decision on opening hours will be made by the people who run the different branches.
On Sunday, July 29, 2018, the ban on trade does not apply, which means that we will shop in all shops open every Sunday.
