The new rules on Sunday trading ban have been in effect since the beginning of this year. From now on, only one Sunday per month is a trading Sunday. Recall that as of 2020, the commercial ban will apply every Sunday of the year, with the exception of seven exceptions.

As you know, this does not mean we will not be shopping on Sunday with a trade ban. There are establishments in which the prohibition of trade does not apply.

On Sundays, we will do so in pharmacies and petrol stations where the trade is prohibited. There are also smaller, open stores where the owner or their closest family will be behind the counter. Kaabka and Freshmarket stores are also open. The decision regarding opening hours is made by people who operate individual outlets.
The ban on Sunday trading does not apply, in confectioneries, ice cream parlors, florists, press shops and cafes.
The Sunday without trade allowed some Poles to reduce their expenses. The positive impact of the trade ban on portfolio content is observed by one in six respondents. For four out of five people, nothing has changed, and one in seventeen seems more. The reason? Savings in traditional stores, and more, consume online shopping, social events, restaurants, movies and theaters – according to a survey of the BIG InfoMonitor Debtors Register.
